Dr. James A. McKnight, DDS
Dr. Jim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Dentistry in the class of 1976. He is also a Plattsmouth High Grad in the Class of 1970. He has spent many years organizing and running the HAPPY Camp for the Plattsmouth 6th graders. He enjoys watching his grandkids in all their activities and supporting the Huskers.
Dr. Douglas J. McKnight, DDS
Dr. Doug is a 2005 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. He is also a 1998 graduate of Plattsmouth High School. Doug spends his free time helping to coach the Plattsmouth Speech Team and watching all his kids activities.
Community Involvement
McKnight Family Dental is extremely involved in the Plattsmouth and Cass County communities. We support several booster clubs. Support several youth sports such as the Plattsmouth Soccer Club and Baseball/Softball Club. Also many other numerous other activities. The Drs perform all the dental checks for Plattsmouth Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. At the Plattsmouth High School we support the Plattsmouth Career Academies. We also organize and run the Coach McKnight Fun Run as a major sponsorship event to support the Plattsmouth Education Foundation and many activities at Plattsmouth Community Schools. If you want to join in the fun of the www.CoachMcKnightFunRun.com you can sign up to run or contact us about being a sponsor. It is a 5K run, 1 mile walk, and a 1 mile kids race. All money raised goes back to the school!
